NHS Funded Treatment

Regardless of where you live in England, you can choose to come to BCRM as an NHS patient for Assisted Conception Treatment. Patients travel from around the country to come to us for their treatment, both funded by the NHS or privately.

For some it’s because of our excellent success rates, for others it’s our philosophy of care and the support we provide our couples throughout their whole journey and treatment.

In order to meet NHS funding requirements you will first need to be referred by your GP for assessment at a specialist NHS General Fertility clinic to confirm your diagnosis and that you meet eligibility criteria for treatment. Following assessment and confirmation that Assisted Conception (IVF/ICSI) treatment is appropriate, you can ask to be referred to BCRM – Bristol Centre for Reproductive Medicine in line with Patient Choice.

If you have asked to be referred to BCRM, please let us know and we’ll ensure your treatment can commence without delay.

Through the planning and monitoring appointments, we answer all your questions and put you at ease so when it comes to egg collection and embryo transfer, you are in a familiar environment with staff you know and trust.

“At BCRM, we pride ourselves on the care and support we offer couples before, during and after Fertility treatment.”
